Unbiased RNA Degrader Identification Uncovers an LC3B-Recruiting Chimera for COL15A1 mRNA Degradation

These findings establish LC3B as a recruitable effector protein for small-molecule-directed RNA decay and provide a general URID framework for discovering degraders that harness diverse RNA-regulatory proteins.

A viral circular RNA in Kaposi’s sarcoma-associated herpesvirus modulates viral and host gene expression during latent and lytic replication

These results show that KSHV can switch to an alternative backsplice site for vIRF4 circRNA production in the absence of a canonical splice site and that circ-vIRF4 contributes to the regulation of both host and viral gene expression through an unknown mechanism.

CASP8 intronic expansion identified by poly-glycine-arginine pathology increases Alzheimer’s disease risk

Taken together, these data support a model in which CASP8-GGGAGAEXP alleles combined with stress increase AD risk.
